Support for Zimbabwean Asylum Seekers
The BZS petition to the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, urging that the UK shows respect for human rights
in its treatment of Zimbabwean refugees and asylum seekers, by allowing them to stay in the UK rather than deporting them back to Zimbabwe has now closed.
By the deadline of 18 April 2008 the petition
had attracted nearly 2,000 signatures
